Abortion Pill Side Effects, Cost, and Eligibility FAQs
Is it safe to order abortion pills online?
No. The FDA does not recommend ordering abortion pills online due to a lack of safety measures.
Is everyone eligible for abortion pills?
No. There are many restrictions, including health history, the type of pregnancy, how far along you are, allergies to the drugs used in the abortion pill regime, and more.
What if I'm more than 10 weeks pregnant?
The FDA has approved taking abortion pills during the first 10 weeks of pregnancy. If your pregnancy is beyond 10 weeks or has not been confirmed, we can discuss your pregnancy options and the resources available to you.
Does an ultrasound determine the cost of an abortion?
An obstetrical ultrasound can estimate your due date, determine the viability of your pregnancy and detect if a pregnancy is located inside the uterus, and more. If there is no intrauterine pregnancy, you may be experiencing an ectopic pregnancy, a life-threatening condition that requires immediate emergency medical attention. However, while an ultrasound does not give you information on the price of an abortion, the cost and method are often determined by how far along you are. An ultrasound is the only way to 100% confirm this information. We can provide ultrasound confirmation at no cost to you.

Abortion Pill
health and safety checklist
Before you take the abortion pill, it is important to confirm the following:
Viability of the pregnancy (able to continue on its own, or if you are at risk for a natural miscarriage).
If the pregnancy is located inside the uterus. If there is no intrauterine pregnancy, you may be experiencing an ectopic pregnancy, a life-threatening condition that requires immediate emergency medical attention.
Your estimated due date or how far along you are.
Confirm your Rh factor. If you are RH-negative, you may require a Rhogam shot after an abortion or miscarriage.
Remove an IUD, if needed.
Side effects, what to expect, and drugs used in the abortion pill regimen (to avoid potential allergic reactions or complications).
